1. Trials Period

Trials will not be held prior to 1 February 2024.

2. Player Offers

3. Catchment

Players must come from within the Mt Lawley district boundary, or the immediate adjoining zones of:

  • Claremont

  • Subiaco / Floreat

  • Bayswater / Morley

  • Wanneroo

  • Scarborough

4. Zone Definition

The player’s zone is defined by where they reside, not which community club they play for.

5. Age Requirements

The age cut off will be assessed as follows for the 2023/24 season:

  • Development Squad and U13’s being under the age of 13 on 1 September 2024 (not 1 July 2024).

  • All other age groups remain as being assessed at 1 July 2024.

Trial Dates for MLDCC

Trials will be held at Breckler Park for NEW players only and registration is required:

  • U13s: 12th and 19th February, 4.30pm - 6:30pm

  • U14s: 13th and 20th February, 4.30pm - 6:30pm

  • U15s: 26th and 27th February, 4.30pm - 6:30pm

  • U17s: Trials will be by invitation only.

Players will be notified after the first trial session whether they have been unsuccessful or progressing to the second trials session.

Registration Close

Registrations for the trials will close on 31 January 2024 to enable club administration to prepare for the trials.

To make it convenient for parents and players, the club has implemented a streamlined online registration system. MLDCC requests all participating players complete all fields in the enclosed Google Forms link prior to the deadline to enable data collation / streamlining of trialists for each session being held.

Late registrations may not be accepted, so it's crucial to act promptly to secure your spot in the trials.

It may not be possible to assess players who present to trials without a valid prior registration due to limited pre-committed resources.
